There are 3 main events at Sunshine Coast Polo for
the 2008 season:
17th : Introduction day for new members
This includes coaching on horse care, shoeing, dentistry, equipment requirements and rules. This provides an opportunity for new players to get up to speed on what they need for the coming season. This also provides a valuable opportunity for our sponsors to meet, greet and understand what they they are getting themselves in for.
Coast to Coast Dowling Cup Cancelled Due to Weather.
9th - 10th August : Gympie Major Events Weekend - 4 Goals Rated
Frank Sherred Memorial Trophy:This tournament is played in memory of Frank Sherred, one of the founding members of the club and one of the people responsible for building the grounds. Rated to 3 goals this is the second major tournament hosted by the club.
Dowling Cup: Because the Queens Birthday weekend was a washout, the club has decided to have a MEGA weekend of Polo, including the Dowling Cup on the same weekend - So much silver to win!!!
