Polo is experiencing massive growth at present with a 50% increase in membership in the last 3 years at clubs across the country. Attendance of polo by the public has also increased and with more matches organized for charities such as the “Pink Polo Day” in support of breast cancer held at Elysian fields every year, polo is rapidly becoming more accessible both to play and watch. - 1.5 million people ride regularly within Australia - 3.68 million have an interest in non-racing equestrian sport

Sponsorship ranges from $400 for sponsorship of single teams in the Mary Valley Classic to $5,000 for title sponsorship of a ‘Tournament Charity Event’. Sponsorship of individual teams for the whole season is also possible.

There are now over 35 active players in the Sunshine Coast Polo Club, and over 8 other clubs in SE Queensland. In order to oversee the development of the clubs objectives over the next year a steering committee has been appointed to develop the clubs strategic plan.

We have already secured interest from the Shanghai Polo Club and the Singapore polo club to take part in polo coaching holidays for their entire club.

- Investigation into the possibilities of establishing a new polo/equestrian centre on the Sunshine Coast
- Attracting high profile teams to play in corporate tournaments on the sunshine coast.
- Hosting a “Spring and Autumn tournament “league” for all Queensland Players.
- Facilitating a team auction at the tournament function to which major sponsors will be given complimentary tickets.
- Hosting of the Barn Dance Extravaganza
